West Valley-Warner Center Chamber of Commerce is one of our favorite customers and the community they represent is close to our hearts. That’s why the Welcome to Woodland Hills monument sign is significant to us and was a wonderful project.
We recognize another one of our favorite customers, the Tarzana Neighborhood Council and the West Valley-Warner Center Chamber of Commerce. And, of course, one of our favorite communities as embodied by this Welcome to Tarzana sign.
This was one of our favorite sign projects for an excellent customer, the Encino Chamber of Commerce. Making and installing the Welcome to Encino sign was an absolute joy because with this we are making a landmark for a community. (more…)
Today we commemorate Memorial Day and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure our safety and freedom. In these trying times, it is a reminder of the efforts of those serving on the front lines, the challenges they face, and the meaning of their valor. So, with this observance, we won’t take them and their acts for granted. Moreover, this moment also helps give us a better appreciation of what it takes to protect our nation and stand up for each other. (more…)
Thomas Starr King Middle School, one of our favorite school signs client, follows the Los Angeles Unified School District’s guidelines on instructional continuity. Namely, students are continuing their education albeit remotely using online tools. The school itself is also the site of volunteer food distribution, which is awesome.
Calabasas High School is among our favorite customers and we have provided them with quality school signs. As we shelter in place, they have shifted to online classes. They also recently had their cap and gown pickup graduation. As well as cheer tryouts, speech and debate competitions and other activities and events online! (more…)
School sign week continues with the recognition of another favorite customer: Concordia Christian School in Granada Hills. They have instituted a remote learning program to ensure their students’ education continues. Likewise they are also conducting virtual praise and worship services as well as entertaining activities for students, teachers and families. That is mighty wholesome and moving! (more…)
A favorite school sign customer of ours, Granada Hills Charter High School. Their teachers and staff have shifted to teaching remotely and their students have been up to the challenge. Moreover, GHC sophomores have been providing meals to medical workers in the San Fernando Valley. It’s very delightful to hear such news.
This week we will be recognizing customers for school signs. And one of our favorite customers happens to be the Los Angeles Film School. Classes are continuing, albeit online via Zoom and Learning Management System (LMS) for the May term.
Pat King Jiu Jitsu in Northridge, one of our favorite customers making good use of our gym signs, teaches martial arts and self-defense. When it comes to COVID-19, you can’t strike it or put it in a choke hold, so social distancing is the most effective defense technique. And that’s what they are doing, while teaching BJJ lessons through Zoom. Practitioners might not be able to go to class and spar with everyone, but they can still hone their techniques from their homes.
