How about an anecdote illustrating the perils of poorly translated signage? In Shanghai, during the run up to the Olympics, all sorts of establishments for the tourists and athletes were being built. And among them was a cafe called… “401 ERROR.” We’re not kidding! People there were taking anything they found on Google and putting it on their signs. They didn’t bother to look up what the words actually meant.

This sign for Tulsi is located within the parking lot, near their front door. A parking lot sign helps show customers where to go and is a useful addition for any establishment, like the Studio City spa.
Formerly an El Torito grill, Sketchers USA has taken over a city block in the Manhattan Beach area for their corporate headquarters. So they hired us to do sign removal for the building they are retrofitting. The sign in question was a giant 30 foot tall pole sign, which required two cranes and six men.
